Ms. Lee Hian (MSc)
Highly qualified with 1st Class Honours and Master’s Degree, Ms. Lee Hian leads Beacon International College, Singapore with more than 30 years of teaching and course management experience. She attained her Masters’ Degrees: M.Sc. Physics, Gold Award from Nanyang University, Singapore and M.Sc. Computing from University of Manchester, UK.
Ms Lee Hian was an IT Professional from 1972 –1984. She joined Ngee Ann Polytechnic, Singapore as a Senior Lecturer from 1984 –2003. She has 6 years of experience as a Course Manager for BTEC programmes and for 5 years she was the SQC Departmental Management Representative for the School of ICT in Ngee Ann Polytechnic. She ran as the President of the student counselling committee for 2 terms during her service with Ngee Ann Polytechnic. In 2004, Ms Lee Hian founded Beacon International College (fka Beacon School of Technology), a private education institution which is registered (ERF) with the Committee for Private Education (CPE) in Singapore.

Ms. Chua Sing Zhi (B.In.Dsn)
Ms Chua Sing Zhi has more than 13 years of experience in the Singapore education industry. As the Deputy CEO and Director (Marketing and Business Development) of Beacon International College, Singapore she is equipped with management skills to run the daily operations of an education institute. With strong understanding of the Singapore education industry she is familiar with the Enhanced Registration Framework (ERF) and Edutrust requirements. Under her leadership, she and her team have attained the 4 years Edutrust and ERF award by the Committee for Private School Education (CPE).
Having obtained a Bachelor’s Degree from Monash University, Australia, Ms. Chua Sing Zhi has overseas education and work experience. With more than 13 years of experience in managing BTEC and University programmes, she is also Pearson Edexcel certified and attends yearly trainings. She has assumed the role of negotiating and validating partnership collaborations with Universities such as Cardiff Metropolitan University and University of South Wales (formerly known as University of Glamorgan).
Even though she is required to be creative and possess strong problem-solving ability in managing the college, she believes that for an organisation to be successful there needs to be strong teamwork & integrity. Mr. Li Xue Chun
Professor Li is an educator who has over 15 years of experience in running higher education colleges in China. Professor Li is a National Committee Member of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, Vice Chairman of China Glory Society, a Committee Member of All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce, Vice Chairman of Association for Non-Government Education.
Mr. Lam Ngai Lung
Mr. Lam Ngai Lung is a CPA and a CFA who has more than 15 years of experience in the areas of Finance and Investment. He worked in PricewaterhouseCoopers and KPMG and led lots of merger and acquisition cases in Hong Kong and China.

Mrs. Leong Li Peng
Mrs Leong is a member of the Institute of Singapore Certified Accountants (ISCA).
Over the years she has worked for multinational corporations and has experience in accounting, human resources, purchasing, organization, internal audit, contracts and operations from industries such as pharmaceutical, semi-conductor, medical equipment and power supply, all of which are now applied to the Education industry.
Mr. Chia Keng Hian (MEd, PGDCS, PGDE, MSCS,CStJ)
Mr. Chia Keng Hian obtained his Master of Education from The University of Western Australia. He has a bachelor’s degree with honors in Science from Nanyang Technological University and is also Post Graduate Diploma-in-Computer Science from University of Singapore. He has over 30 years of extensive experience in teaching Computer Science. As a Principal Consultant of Infocomm at Hwa Chong Institution (College), he has been involved in both formulating and implementing strategy in Infocomm Technology. In addition, he was a coach and leader of the international competitions in International Olympiad in Informatics and Oracle Thinkquest as well as National Infocomm Competition by Info-communications Development Authority of Singapore and won the circuit champion of the National Infocomm Competitions for Hwa Chong Institution (College) for many years.
Dr. Samaneh S. (Ph.D.)
Dr. Samaneh Seraj is an educator with twenty years of experience in teaching and educational management in Asia and the Middle East. She obtained her Ph.D. and MSc with first-class honors in Teaching English as a Second Language from UPM Malaysia. She is a powerful force in the workplace and uses her positive attitude and tireless energy to encourage others to work hard and succeed.
Dr. Samaneh has extensive expertise in counseling students and teachers with a solid ability to maintain an effective relationship with partner organizations.

Prof. Peter Hodson has more than 30 years of experience in the education industry and was an Inspector for the British Accreditation Council and Assistant Director of the QAA Reviews Group, UK.
Prof. Peter Hodson is currently engaged in a range of education projects, particularly in the Middle East. He has considerable experience of project management and governance of education, and has been Vice-Chair of Governors of a very large college in Wales.
Prof. Peter Hodson held the position of Dean of Faculty of Advanced Technology (all engineering and computing schools) at the University of South Wales (f.k.a University of Glamorgan), and was chair of its Quality Assurance Committee for many years. He has also served in the UK as an academic reviewer since 1994, initially with HEQC and then with the Quality Assurance Agency (QAA), where he has been involved in excess of 30 QAA audits and reviews, including overseas audits in Sri Lanka and Greece. Professor Hodson was chair of the British Computer Society’s Accreditation Committee for three years. For 5 years, Professor Hodson was an Assistant Director at QAA, within the Reviews Group. He was an inspector for British Accreditation Council (BAC) for five years and has undertaken many reviews for EEC-HES (NCAAA) in Saudi Arabia and UAE. He has also been a member of the Quality Committee for the Welsh Funding Council (HEFCW).
Over the past 20 years Prof. Peter Hodson has provided academic support and services for 32higher education institutions and agencies in the UK, Europe, SE Asia and the Middle East.
Mr. Eric Low Siak Meng, (BBM(L))
Mr. Eric Low Siak Meng, BBM(L), is the Executive Chairman of Aptitude Management Consulting Pte. Ltd. He served 10 years as a Board of Visitor to SAF Detention Barracks (1989 to 1999); Honorary Secretary of National Council of Social Service 1990 to 2001; Chairman of Community Chest Award Committee. Mr. Low joined the National Crime Prevention Council in 1998 and now serve as their Vice Chairman. Mr. Low holds the Chairman’s position for the Sub-committee on “Family, Children and Youth”, Annual Crime Prevention Festive Launch, and was the Chairman for the 2011 and 1996 – International Crime Prevention Conference. Mr. Low was an Appointed Board Member of the Casino Regulatory Authority (CRA) in 2011; Board Member and Audit Chairman of the People’s Association; Member of the Board of Governors to the Home Team NS Clubs; Board Member of the Home Team Volunteers Network Steering Committee.
For his dedication to community work, Mr. Low was awarded the following National Day Awards – Public Service Medal (PBM) in 1989 – Public Service Star (BBM) in 1997 and Public Service Star – Bar (BBM(L)) in 2008.

Ms. Tan Sooh Whye
Ms Tan Sooh Whye has been appointed as Alternate Director to Mr Tan Pong Tyea since July 2006. She is also a director of Asetanian Marine Pte Ltd and Ruben Capital Venture Ltd. Ms Tan is responsible for the treasury, administrative and human resource for Asetanian Marine Pte Ltd and has been with the company for over 20 years.
Ms Tan graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and also holds a Diploma in Business Administration from Wilfrid Laurier University in Waterloo, Canada.
Mr. Andrea Moro
Mr Andrea is an expert in Sales and Marketing and Hotel Management and have more than 30 years’ experience in Europe, Australia and China working with international hotel chains. He can effectively build and manage diverse teams from small to large and he has a proven track record in improving financial performance by developing new and innovative business opportunities.
He has completed a Master of Management-Tourism Management at University of Technology Sydney and he has a keen interest in sustainable tourism practices, accessible tourism, volunteer tourism and eco-tourism. In addition Mr Andrea is a certified Trainer and have been a Lecturer for 5 years teaching in Sydney and Singapore with experience in delivering Diploma to Bachelor programmes.”

Ms. Angelina Chua has more than 20 years of experience in public accounting, internal auditing, financial accounting and accountancy education in both private and public sectors. She has taught in various tertiary institutions and won several awards in teaching and learning initiatives. She is an Associate Lecturer at the Singapore Institute of Management and Adjunct Lecturer at Ngee Ann Polytechnic, Temasek Polytechnic and other reputable educational institutions in Singapore.
