Dear teachers, In celebration of Racial Harmony month, we will be holding a ‘Racial Harmony Day @ Beacon’ Event on 23 July 2012 at 4pm. The student union leaders along with the organisers Minna and Nelson will be visiting classes to make announcements and share about the event. Do encourage your students and yourselves to attend as there will be exciting prizes from the RCs and free food! The students just have to pay a $5 deposit for the ticket which will be refunded at the end of the event. It’s a great time for students to learn about different cultures and truely understand the spirit of Racial Harmony in Singapore. Everyone is encouraged to dress in their own cultural costume. For those who do not have costume they may wear a Beacon T-shirt. The guest of honour will be Ms Denise Phua, MP of Moulmein / Kallang GRC.
