Prohibition of Unauthorized Advertising and Representation of Beacon International College

Important Notice: Inaccurate Public Disclaimer by RA

1. Beacon International College does not offer a two-week online PSE (Pre-Sessional English) courses. Any preparatory or pre-sessional course conducted by Recruitment Agent (RA), eg. Beijing Hianvein Sangsui, or its business partners is not a programme offered by Beacon International College, unless expressly stated on Beacon’s official website or in official communications issued by Beacon. Where such courses are offered independently by a RA or its partners, all promotional materials, advertisements and payment instructions must clearly identify the actual service provider and must not represent the course as being offered by Beacon International College.
2. Authorised RA may charge applicants administration fees or service fees for services they provide in assisting with applications to Beacon International College. Such fees:
   • are charged by the RA and not by Beacon International College;
   • must be clearly identified as fees payable to the RA;
   • must clearly state the purpose of the charges; and
   • must not exceed SGD 2,000 per student, in accordance with the RA Agreement.
   • Applicants are encouraged to clarify with the RA if they are unsure whether a fee is payable to the College or to the RA.

3. There are costs associated with administering the English Placement Test, which may be borne either by Beacon International College or by an authorised RA. Where a RA charges applicants for administering the test, the fee must be clearly identified as a fee charged by the RA and must not be represented as a fee payable to Beacon International College unless expressly authorised by the College.
4. All advertisements, promotional materials, announcements and public communications relating to Beacon International College must be reviewed and approved by the College before publication. RA must not publish or distribute information that:
   • misrepresents Beacon International College, its programmes or services;
   • contains inaccurate or misleading information;
   • represents third-party programmes or services as Beacon programmes; or
   • has not been approved by Beacon International College.

5. Prospective students are encouraged to verify any information relating to admissions, fees, programmes or Student’s Pass matters directly with Beacon International College if they have any doubts. Official information is available through Beacon’s official communication channels. If you believe you have received inaccurate or misleading information relating to Beacon International College, please contact us immediately so that we can investigate the matter.

1. Prohibition of Misrepresentation*

Recruitment Agents (“RA”) shall not misrepresent Beacon International College in any form of advertisement, communication, or promotional material. Any representation of Beacon International College must be accurate, authorized, and in compliance with the guidelines set by Beacon International College.

2. Restriction on Unauthorized Use

Former Recruitment Agents (“Ex-RA”), Non-Recruitment Agents (“Non-RA”), and any other parties that do not hold an official RA status are strictly prohibited from advertising on behalf of Beacon International College or using Beacon International College’s name, logo, trademark, or any related intellectual property in any form or medium.

3. Legal Consequences

Beacon International College reserves the right to take legal action, including but not limited to seeking injunctive relief and damages, against any party found in violation of the provisions outlined in this clause.
