Course Fee
The Course Fee Table above takes effect from 28 October 2024 intake.
The 3 (three) types of fee payable to Beacon are:
- Application Fee
Application Fee is payable for the sole purpose of processing the application form submitted so that Beacon can verify if the student is suitable for the course and meets the admission requirements. It is non–refundable regardless of the application results and is not protected under the Fee Protection Scheme. - Course Fees
The course fees are the standard fees outlined in Schedule B of the Standard PEI – Student Contract. Refunds are subject to Beacon’s refund policy. - Miscellaneous Fees
All miscellaneous fees are non-compulsory and non-standard fee payable as needed. These fees are detailed in Beacon’s Student Contract. They are not protected under the Fee Protection Scheme.
Financial Award and Support
Terms & Conditions, unless otherwise stated
- This can be in the form of Scholarship, Bursary, Grant/Study Grant, or any other financial assistance scheme introduced by Beacon at any time.
- All applicants are eligible for the Financial Award and Support scheme except those applying to programmes with durations of less than 3 months.
- All applicants shall be automatically assessed for their eligibility for the prevailing Financial Award and Support scheme at the point of application based on the supporting documentation furnished. If needed, additional documentation / information may be requested.
- The monetary value, payment schedule, duration, and conditions shall be communicated to the applicants BEFORE course commencement; such offers are only valid for the applicable period and shall not be transferable or encashable or converted into any other form.
- Recipients are responsible for ensuring timely payment of any remaining balance after the deduction of the financial assistance.
- Recipients who fail to make the remaining payment within the specified deadlines may be subject to penalties, including late fees or the suspension of financial assistance. It is the responsibility of the recipient to adhere to the payment schedule outlined by the educational institution.
- In the event of non-compliance with payment obligations, Beacon reserves the right to withhold academic records, transcripts, and other official documents until outstanding payments are settled.
- Applications for Scholarship shall be made using the prescribed form made available upon request and shall be subject to the prevailing scholarship terms and conditions.
- The recipient of Beacon’s Financial Award and Support scheme acknowledges and agrees to comply with all terms and conditions outlined herein. Failure to meet any of the specified requirements may result in Penalties, including but not limited to the following:
- Violation of School Rules: The recipient acknowledges and agrees to abide by all rules, policies, and codes of conduct established by Beacon. Violation of any such school rules, including but not limited to academic dishonesty, misconduct, or any behavior deemed unacceptable by Beacon, may result in Penalties.
- Violation of Singapore Laws: Recipients are expected to comply with all applicable laws and regulations of the Republic of Singapore. Any unlawful activity, including but not limited to criminal offenses, may lead to Penalties.
- Cooperation with Authorities: In the case of alleged violations of Singapore laws, Beacon may cooperate fully with local authorities in their investigations. Recipients are obligated to cooperate with such investigations.
- Conditions of Payment: Recipients must fulfill conditions of payment, including providing documented confirmation of enrollment and compliance with ethical standards.
- Penalties: In cases where the recipient is found guilty of violating school rules or Singapore laws, Beacon reserves the right to impose Penalties to the recipient of this Financial Award and Suppor scheme. The Penalties may include but not limited to immediate termination, amendment, withdrawal or revocation of the financial assistance scheme. The decision of Beacon is final.
- Beacon reserves the right to amend withdraw Scholarship, Bursary, Grant/Study Grant, or any financial assistance scheme without prior notice.
- Beacon’s decision is final. No appeal shall be entertained.
