On Friday, 27th April 2018, 55 students and 6 staff made a tour to Food & Hotel Asia (FHA) 2018 held at Expo Convention Centre. FHA2018 offered a wide selection of products and services and was complemented with ProWine Asia 2018 that was held concurrently at the Expo Hall 10.
Students were divided into teams and they were given an activity which was to collect 10 specific companies’ business cards as they explored through Expo Halls 1 to 10. It was certainly not an easy task as there were 4,000 international exhibitors from over 70 countries/regions throughout the Halls. At the end of the day, the 3 teams that managed to collect the most number of business cards were given a small gift for their enthusiasm and efforts.
We hoped that our students enjoyed their time sampling premium quality food at the exhibition booths and gained valuable out-of-classroom experience through this comprehensive international food & hospitality trade event.
