Pearson Edexcel International General Certificates of Secondary Education (IGCSEs)
Pearson Edexcel International General Certificates of Secondary Education (IGCSEs) is a 2-year programme that is designed to provide an educational foundation and experience based on the aims and assessment objectives of the respective International GCSE subjects.
About International GCSEs
Edexcel International GCSEs are versions of the UK regulated GCSEs, with content and assessment specifically for international learners. Designed to be engaging, internationally appropriate and of equivalent standard to the UK versions, Pearson Edexcel’s International GCSEs provide students with the skills and knowledge they will need to successfully progress to A Levels, onto university and into employment.

The course comprises the following units:

- Further Pure Mathematics

- Science (Double Award)

Course Objectives
Upon completion of the course, the student is expected to:
- Be familiar with the International GCSE curriculum and assessment objectives of the subjects covered in this course
- Understand and acquire the knowledge and skills stipulated in the assessment objectives of the respective International GCSE subjects covered in this course
- Sit for the International GCSE examinations
Admission Criteria
English Entry Requirement
- IELTS 4.0 or equivalent qualifications OR
- A Pass in English Placement Test determined by the College
Students who fail the English Placement Test will be required to attend an English course conducted by the college to achieve a Lower Intermediate level
