EduTrust
Beacon is now EDUTRUSTED! We are one of the first 30 commercial schools awarded with EduTrust in Singapore.
EduTrust is a voluntary certification scheme for private education institutions (PEIs) in Singapore. A private education institution is awarded EduTrust certification if it has achieved the stipulated standards in the areas of:
- Management of the school
- Provision of educational services; and
- Financial health
In addition, EduTrust-certified PEIs will be banded based on their scores in the criteria and the banding will be made known publicly. Students are thus able to make more informed choices. Local and international students will equally benefit from the introduction of EduTrust as their fees will be protected.

With effect from 21 December 2009, all Private Education Institutions (PEIs) may commence registration with the SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) and subsequently apply for EduTrust-certification. PEIs including those who are under the EduTrust for Education scheme must be EduTrust-certified before being able to offer placement for international students who require a Student’s Pass from the Immigration and Checkpoints Authority (ICA).
