At Beacon International College, we strive to maintain an optimal teacher-student ratio to enhance the learning experience and provide adequate support to our students.
Overall Teacher-Student Ratio
Based on the student population and the number of active full-time and part-time teachers, the overall teacher-student ratio at Beacon International College is not more than 1:25. The Ministry of Education’s (MOE) definition on Pupil-Teacher Ratio is adopted and amended and it is calculated by dividing the total student enrolment by the total number of full-time and active part-time teachers in college. This approach aims to create a supportive learning environment and ensure students receive the necessary attention for their academic development.
Class Size
Face-to-Face Lessons:
- Tutorial: Maximum of 1 teacher to 30 students
- Lecture: Maximum of 1 teacher to 76 students
- Tutorial: Maximum of 1 teacher to 30 students
- Lecture: Maximum of 1 teacher to 300 students
