Beacon International College was honoured to host a collaborative talk on “Cross-Cultural Conversations: Working Across Different Countries.”
Our distinguished speakers included Mr. Don Champika, Site Reliability Engineering Manager at Rakuten Viki, Singapore, and Mr. Varun Advani, Engineering Manager at Rakuten Viki, Singapore.
Mr. Don Champika shared insights from over 15 years of experience working across Sri Lanka, the USA, and Singapore, while Mr. Varun Advani brought valuable perspectives from his professional journey across Singapore and the UK.
During the session, students gained meaningful insights into cross-cultural collaboration, global workplace practices, and leadership in international teams. It was an engaging and inspiring discussion that broadened students’ understanding of working in a global environment.
